The room was large with a safe, TV and a writing table.
All in all unbeatable and excellent setting close enough to the centre of Madrid-highly recommended, the galleries, Retiro Park, Plaza Santa Anna and center of Madrid. Easy walk to Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza. Beautiful building and rooms in the wardrobes. Good choice of outstanding food for meals.

The hotel's location is perfect - situated on a quiet street just a 15-minute walk from the main square. With several restaurants on the side street, you'll have plenty of dining options right at your doorstep. The hotel is also located in a car-restricted area, ensuring a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for your stay. The rooms, with their small attic windows and balconies, offer a charming view and are well-maintained by the attentive staff.
All was well, nothing to complain about.

The best things about Hostal Lisboa were its location and air-conditioning.
Although the rooms were quite clean and tidy, the first impression of the room was bit of a shock. I would recommend the hostal for backpackers who do not spend lot of time in the rooms. However the air-conditioning was a big plus. Also not everybody in the staff spoke English. Luckily this didn't cause any problems.
